I'm sick. This thing I bought to enjoy has become a nightmare. Today while driving it around I found that #4 gear(only) is making a clanging noise while pulling up an incline or straight way. Push the clutch in and it stops. I sounds like a bull dozer track moving in reverse at a fair rate of speed. I'm sure most of you have heard them on dry ground in reverse. That's as near as I can describe the sound. Mechanic said he did not know but sounded like maybe a tooth missing on gear #4. Would have to tear down to see. Wow The guy who sold me this had to know but he sold it as is. So there. Today is the first time I heard the sound. I thought the sound was only heard when TA was in DD. But No, it is in both DD and TA range. Anyone have a clue? Is that all it could be. Where could a person get a good used 4th Gear? Sick in Tennessee
