Hi CenTexFarmall , I hope you're right about it being worth it ! I could have bought a Super M with a loader that ran good yesterday for a couple hundred more than what I will have in parts for this old M .
So far I've gotten everything from CIH . I haven't gotten the axle or final drive bearings yet due to lack of money . I don't think I'll be getting those from CIH though as the neighbor that I'm doing the rebuid at found me bearings for about $50 less per bearing than CIH for the diff and bull pinion . I already have everything needed to complete the transmission . I got the reverse idler and pto pilot bushings from CIH also . Unless you have a ream of the right size you might want to take the reverse idler to a machine shop along with the shaft and have it done by them . That set me back 20 bucks but I got a perfect .003 fit on both ends . I used a brake hone to do the pto pilot bushing and some plumbers mesh to do the pto shaft end . It's a snug fit but there's room for oil in there . Good luck with yours !! ...Randy
