I just bought a 140. The tractor was running when I got it. But when you used it And go to cut it off it wonted to keep running. So I checked the timing it was so erratic that I could not set it. So I pulled the distributor. The distributor was so bad off I replaced it and the drive gear. My shop book saides to set the ignition timing to 22 dreg with s.n. up to 103556 if the s.n. is 103557 and up it should be set at 14 dreg. The s.n. on my block is 100646. I set the timing on 22 dreg and when I use the tractor it runs good. But when you cut it off it wants to keep running it is not running hot it is about 160 to 170 dreg. So I changed it to 17 dreg and it doing the same thing. Do I need to go lower on my timing or do I need to look for something else. Thanks in advance Tracy

I tried to use an easy out but it wasn't budging and I didn't want t
