Hello I have a pair of smta tractors that I have been workign on fixing up. The one that I want to work on now has a bad ta, slips on the low side. My question is do I replace the whole unit or can I get parts to rebuild it myself. I see heavy duty sprag type ta's advertised, are they worth the extra $? Plan to use the tractor to bale some hay and possibly plow with it. Also I see several posts indicating that the tractor should have HYtran in the rearend, not 80-90wt, my owners manual specifies gear oil, what are other people using? Thanks, MikeS.
