Have you checked the external adjustments for the Clutches? If not give it a try. It probably won't help, but always try the simple things first. If after clutch adjustment, if it still slips then it indicates the sprag clutch is probably bad. This is a set of rollers that form a one-way clutch. At this point you may want to tear it down to determine the extent of the damage. If the roller ramps are damaged, I would suggest installing a professionally rebuilt assembly. As far as TA operataion, if you are not aware, the TA is not designed to provide extra operational ground speeds. It's designed for intermittant use. In other words don't plow all day in TA mode. Just use it to get through the tough spots. For baying hay, use the TA only when the baler loads up in a tough spot. The purpose of the TA is to prevent the need to stop and change gears while incountering temporary heavy loads. J. I. Case had Case-O-Matic for the same purpose. I would use HyTran or equivelent.
