Was called to a buddy of mine said his M wouldn"t run. I check it out. When I got to his house he had the plugs out. I put my finger over the spark plug hole. Compression on every stroke. Hum Must be something wrong with cam. Got to looking. Live hydraulic. Buddy said he started tractor up when zero outside Raised the loader ran it in shed to let it warm up. when he next checked upo on it it was dead. I thought timing gears busted. Checked distributer. It was turning. Question is whats wrong? if timing gears were bad, dist wouldn't turn. I guess I'll find out when we tear it down. Any suggestions. I did pull valve cover.
