Thanks RED. I've had some people say that you need to split the tractor to fix a clutch and others say you don't. At any rate the tractor I believe is useable the way it sits. The owner says his father used it mainly to run grain augers and such so the clutch may be stuck from just not being used. I understand that the M&W hand clutch acts just like the standard foot clutch with the exception of not stopping the PTO, am I correct? I have not started the tractor yet. Would the starter,etc be stressed by having to turn the motor and PTO?
