I have a Super C that has developed a high idle issue. When it starts, the idle is somewhat high to start with. When I throttle it up, it runs higher, but then will not idle down at all. The throttle becomes ineffective. If I shut it off, it will again be somewhat high as the base idle and will throttle up, but then (again) the idle cannot be reduced, until shutting it down.
I have looked for air leaks. All connections seem good. The issue must be in the governor. Has anyone experienced this and what"s the fix? Thanks.
