I finaly got it loose last night. I cleaned up the shaft end where I mushroomed the end and put the bolt in and drove on it instead. If I would have done this in the first place I would not have had any troubles. I moved on to the right hand side and it came apart with no problems. I think leaving the pan on and keeping the weight off the bull gear may have helped also. I like your idea of pushing with a bar across the casting. That may save some headaches in the future. Thanks for your help.
