I had the 12v genny tested and cleaned. It's all good to go. So today I pulled my 6v genny off, and the mounting setup is a bit of a mess. It looked like some homemade brackets were put on the tractor to fit the genny on.
The pulley on the 12v that came off an MD is different. So originally I was going to swap the pulleys, figuring the H needed the one on the 6v to get it to sit right. But after I saw the hack job, I'm wondering if the pulley is wrong on the 6v, and the hack job was done to make it fit?
How do I figure out what the correct pully is, and how it should mount?
Also, the 12v has 2 screw holes on the top for a VR. Is that all a VR requires is just 2 screw holes?
