I have had this tractor and used it for the past 2 years for very light projects with out any real problems. Today it overheated. I think it has something to do with the water pump. It started making a noise like a bearing was going out. I looked at the manual (when I first noticed the noise but before it overheated) and figured that it shouldn"t make much difference and then it proceeded to boil most of the coolant out. I had topped it off thinking that maybe the level was too low and I don"t have a tight cap on the radiator so I assumed that I had overfilled it and it would stop steaming but after 15 minute it was still steaming so I stopped and checked and it was lower than before. I am looking for some guidance, the fan was still spinning and it seems like it must be pumping water through the engine for the fluid to be boiling off so I don"t really know what to start with. The only thing I noticed that is different is the noise that seems to come from the water pump. I appreciate any help. I would like to get all the parts I need in one stop and not just start replacing everything.
