Sorry about your bad luck,I ordered a .002 oversize sleeve from my IH dealer(about 60 bucks) put it in the freezer for an hour and then installed it in block, slid in snug all but the last inch then pressed in the rest of the way with a sleeve installer I made. This fit is acceptable according to IH Blue Ribbon manual.I have ran it pretty hard on adisc and bush hog with no problems so far,(62) hours. The bore marking for each cylinder that Tractor Vet is writing about do not exist on my engine(serial# 2868).I looked closly when Ihad the thing apart, mine have no such marks, they are refered to in the service manaul but not the parts book, maybe on later blocks? Be nice to that engine,IH didn't use in many apps, kinda hard to find blocks . If I can help with anything else feel free to post,I'll be glad to help. Butch
