My farmall generator is putting out 13.7V pos ground at idle and 19 or so at operating rpm.
It is a magneto ignition so there is no coil.
There is a burned out 6v regulator on it and a 6v battery in it.
I really don"t care whether it is 6v, 12v, pos or neg I just need to know where to start so it will charge. It starts fine with the 6v pos ground battery but all the info I read say that a 6v generator puts out around 10v.
