The hydraulic system on tractor "A" has never worked the way it was designed to work. I thought the problem was in the safety/regulator valve. I replaced it with one from a salvage yard. It did not correct the problem. Today I was swapping the valve bodies from Tractor "C" to see if that would correct the problem. When I had both sets of valves off both tractors, I found a plug with an o-ring, in line, on the non-functioning system. What is it besides being a plug and why is it there? I believe removing it will solve my problem. But I don't want to wreck something in the process of trying to fixing it. The plug came from the hole that I am holding it next to. Thank you Steve

After two summers of having to park my old 1964 model 4000 gas 4 cyl. on a hill just in case the 6 volt system, for whatever reason, would not crank her, I decided to try the 12 volt conversion.
