I have a H I bought several years ago. Everytime I want to take it to a show or out for a spin I need to charge it or hotshot it. I decided to see what the problem is and and now am more confused than before. I have a three brush generator, a regulator with five wires connected to it and no markings and not grounded, lights that work but the switch is athree position switch with a four position marking.. second position is my back light (with the fronts on very dim) and the third is all lights on bright, when the tractor is running I only measure .4 to .8 volts at the generator. I have a service manual that I bought a while ago but it doesn't have any electrical drawings. I need a set of drawings for this tractor, any suggestions?
the guy I bought it from did some rewiring and I would rather start fresh and see what is going on. any help or suggestions would be appreciated
