The oil in the bull gears (final drive) is separate from the oil in the rear frame unless someone has updated the housings to the later style. The change was to drill holes in the rear frame so that the oil could run between the rear frame and the axle housings. If it is updated the check/fill plug on the axle housing should have been cut off so that it can not be removed to indicate the change was made on that side. Some tractors out there have only one side done.
