I'VE TALKED TO SOME VERY SMART GUYS IN FARMALL'S THIS IS WHAT THEY TOLD ME. CLEAN THE HEAD UP DECK IT BUT DON'T MILL .100 OFF. NOT GOING TO GAIN MUCH IN POWER BUT MAKE'S HEAD WEAK AND PRONE TO CRACKING. ALSO PUT 450 RODS IN.SAME ROD BUT CONSIDERABLY LIGHTER. I WOULD GET A DIAL INDICATER AND CHECK THE SLEEVE PROTRUSION,SLEEVE ACCUALLY MAKES THE SEAL FOR COMPRESSION. IF THAT'S GOOD. REBUILD IT AND PLOW FOR ANOTHER 5-10 YRS. JUST A THOUGHT JUST HAVE YOUR HEAD CHECKED MAYBE JUST SOME BAD GUIDES & SEATS? HECK OF A LOT CHEAPER.
