I got all of the steering cylinder and center pivot support part out from under it and have all new bushings in and ready to go back together. Was cleaning all the old grease and dirt from the area where center pivot bracket pins to axle and found that bushing on the axle pivot pin looks like it has worked backwards. I knew the axle was a little loose in this area but now I know I am going to have to replace the pivot pin, bushing and probably stay rod ball/socket. Do you all think it will be easier to just pull the axle assembly out from under the tractor to replace these parts or should I just jack up to relieve pressure on the pin and R&R. I have stands and forklift for the heavy work.
