No: those two are bolts and are for mounting the cultivator onto the bellhousing. The trans. oil check plug is on the tranmission itself, which bolts on the the rear of the bellhousing as a separate unit. The oil fill is a plug with a half-inch square recessed hole in it: you can unscrew it with a half inch drive breaker bar. It's near the gear shift. The trans oil check plug is on the left side of the trans just in front of where the left fender ends (sqaure headed plug). There's only one of these, not two like for the engine oil. Other fluids/lubes to check: grease the front axels and steering, also the generator has oil cups for each bearing, and the governor takes some oil, too. There's also a way to grease the clutch bearings by pulling plugs on the side and bottom of the bellhousing: these look like smooth round caps, anout an inch and a half across. I probably missed some. If you're just plowing 100x100 feet, it will be fine for a year. Get your veggies planted.
