I have a 706 gasser that is currently running off a generator. It works fine but does not put out enough juice to run the lights I added that I need for doing nightime work. I just got one of the delco internally regulated generators. As I understand it I just need one wire to the battery and another wire hooked into the ingnition. For the ignition wire I was just going to splice into the wire that opens and closes the fuel shut off when you turn the key on and off, would that work? Also the generator has 2 wires hooked to it but I am having alot of difficulty finding where they lead to, anyone one here know? I M hoping one of them will work for the wire to the battery but I am assuming there is a voltage regulator somewhere that might or might not be an issue if I do use that wire, if anyone has any advise on that I could use some.
