I am in the process of mounting a Hitachi alternator on my Super M. It will bolt up easy enough, but it seems I am going to need to put on a slightly longer belt, which means the other 2 belts will need to come off-out of the way (power steering and water pump). I was wondering if anyone else experienced the same, or maybe I am missing something on how to use the existing belt. I was wondering if the old generator pulley might give a little more room. Does anyone have experience with this that they might be willing to share? Thanks.
