Dear Bob, First of all thanks for the great diagram. Too bad you didn't do the ones in the IH manuals! Given that I've gone back to the original setup ie: starting push rod switch on the starter motor, magneto and no starter button, would I still use the "L" terminal. Is that just for solenoid-starter button set-ups? The only reason I'm asking is that in my manual it shows one wire in the harness going to the "F" terminal on the generator, one wire going to the "B" on the regulator and a jumper wire from the "G" on the regulator to the "A" post on the generator. Was there a change in regulators or generators since 45? Thanks for the tip on the ammeter test. Barry Fogel
