Thanks for the help, I found a dealer locally that can get the seals tomorrow. Now for the next question...... (drum roll..............) What is the best method for installing the new seals with the bull cage and cross shaft still on the tractor? I don't want to damage them while installing them with a drift punch and hammer. Is there a common size pipe that fits over the cross shaft and will fit nicely on the seal to drive it in with?? Or any other ideas? I found this board last night after spending a couple of hours searching the web. I then spent a couple hours more reading some of the old posts. What a wealth of information you guys have. Now I can tell my neighbor why his M keeps jumping out of road gear! (4/5 slider worn, and/or pilot bearing..... right????) Thanks for all the help
