I ordered a rebuild kit for a super AV (1951). It has a standard 113 engine. I am not so confident that the sleeves are the correct sleeves. When I insert them into the block, they do not touch the block on the inner part where the wet seal should be made. The sleeves taper too much to touch. In other words, I was expecting a cylinder shaped sleeve that would touch the O-ring that would be inserted into the block to form the wet seal?
I know my terminology is terrible. Did this make any sense?
