I just got done putting a 560 diesel back together after doing some engine work. The gentleman I bought it from said he has run ATF in the hydraulic/transmission ever since he's had it. I want to know if ATF and Hy-Tran will mix together as it has an all hydraulic loader and even if I tried to drain it completely I'm sure 2-3 gallons of ATF would remain. My Plan is to drain 5 gallons and put 5 gallons of Hy-Tran in it and just drain 5 gallons and replace it with Hy-Tran for the next 2-3 years. After that time there should be very little ATF left and then I'll just replace the Hy-Tran every 5 years or so thereafter. What do you fellows think???
