My local Case dealer is asking $6650 for an old International 584 with a PTO and 3 pt. hitch. He didn't know the year (but could find out from the owner) and the hours meter stopped working at about 700 hours. It started right up and seemed to run smoothly. The dealer said they put on a new seat and a new starter motor. All I need a tractor for is to mow about 16 acres of horse pasture and pull a manure spreader. Anyone have any thoughts on whether this is a tractor I should get into as a first time tractor buyer.
