Jim, I am getting the pile of tools that I will need to work on the steering of my 300 this weekend. You told me about the 175 ft-lbs of torque on the bolster shaft gear, at the top. IF everything else goes as planned, would I benefit by having a gear puller with to get that full circle gear off, or will it come off with some "taps"??? Thanks for any help!
