i just drained my 460 Farmall the other day, i got 2 gals./ of water also. I put all the oil in the rear and it flowed right up to the IPTO gears behind the flywheel. If you drained it out the rear plug, then where did your T/A oil go. Unless 400 &450 are different, the same oil in the rear lubes the finals, transmission, belt pully gears, T/A & IPTO -hyd. pump gears
