Stan, You may see my later post on this-I mentioned to use a harmonic balancer installer to put the pulley back on(should be available at any parts store or tool dealer). If your crank isnt already drilled and tapped, get it tapped to match the installer. The installer has an arbor that threads into the crankshaft and has its own threads. It uses a large nut and a thrust bearing to pull the pulley on. This puts the stress on the puller threads instead of the threads in the crankshaft.
