I have a 50 "H" and it will do the same thing when you choke it, especially if you use the crank to start it when it's cold and it doesn't fire up on the first flip or two. I replaced my needle and seat 20 years ago. To me the key thing is does it go away after she fires up.
If not, it has to be sticking.
