Moms cub wouldn't stay running last time she tried to mow, I determined it wasn't getting fuel. Plenty of fuel coming through the line. I took the carb apart and the float was free but the needle valve would not drop with the float. I put a new one in and it does the same thing.
Did I miss some crud in the opening that is holding the needle in the opening, or is there another explanation for this. When they tried to mow today it wasn't getting fuel, Dad gave the carb a tap close to the needle and fuel would flow till the needle closed again then it wouldn't open again.
Thanks for any ideas you guys might have.Got to keep Mom happy or Dad will move in with me.
