I am a little confused as to time my farmall A hand start...I am very familiar with Green but not so much with red...I do have a pretty good understanding of all and have gone thru my mag and got good spark...I have it set to just before #1 impulse....but where my problem is seems pretty stupid to me...which one is #1 cylinder???...I assume it is the cylinder closest to the fan but when looking at the stamping on the side of the block it gives me the impression that it is the cylinder closest the seat???...This was a running tractor when I took the mag off just not running good and wanted to freshen things up a bit and eliminate some problems...but now she don't run at all so I created more problems....also one last thing roughly what position should the coupler on the governor be in when I am at TDC on #1 cylinder..I found a video on timing a cub and was using that as a guide but is it different for a A????....any help would be great and thank you for reading this.
