I left alot of detail out.mine does run through the ammeter before the battery.If it shows discharge while running,you need to reverse the wire on it.(Probably still wired for your 6v Pos ground still????)
ALL lights wiil have to be changed to 12 v.A 12 volt battery,grounded negative.It will not hurt the starter.
DO NOT forget a ballast resistor for the coil.(NAPA part # IC 34)The coil will have to have it's wires reversed,as well.+ will hook to the ballast,the other side of the balast goes to the ignition switch.The negative side of the coil NOW hooks to the points lead out of the distributor.
