I may be off base here, but I'm wondering if your throw out bearning is simply worn out, and not pushing the fingers on the pressure plate in far enough to let the clutch release. I'm not certain, but my SC had a kind of fiberous throw out bearing, when i had it apart and looked at it, I was amazed that it worked at all. I'd take REDS suggestion and work on the adjustment, might be such a thing as putting more travel into the linkage would make it release. If you have to go further, they make a new style throw out bearing that uses a metal bearing. You'll have to buy the bearing and the holder (about $120) if my memory is right, but it sure looks like a much better deal. Good luck.
