Dan - I've heard the 10-SI alternator will just squeeze under the hood of an H, but have never actually seen it done. Suggest before you get too far into the conversion get hold of a 10-SI from a junkyard. Then jury rig the alternator into position and see if the hood still fits. (And please let us know if it does!)
