Wouldn't low vacuum affect idle as well? Tractor was running fine until it sat for an extended period, which brought about the cleaning of fuel system and carb rebuild I done. This was my late fathers tractor and he just did not use it much in late years and lack of use has created some problems which I am currently trying to fix, (bad hoses,belts,etc. I plan to restore this tractor in the future when time permits (I learned to drive on this), add 3 point hitch, etc.
