Just took delivery of a 574 gasser with a few issues. There is a bolt in the block right above the solenoid that is dripping oil. Not sure if something was supposed to be in the block at that location and this is a plug or if the bolt is factory there. Either way, it's dripping and just wondering if there is something missing or just needs a gasket or o-ring. Tried looking at IH Parts, but there was no category for engine in the parts look-up. Another issue is that when I put the position control lever all the way to the NOTCH, or lower fast position, three point drops really slow or not at all. When I pull it just above the notch, it lowers fine.m I have the draft control in lock out position. These are the beginning issues. Bought her knowing she needed a little work.
