I can't get oil pressure on my F 20. I have taken the oil pump out - every thing seems to be working. I blew out the lines with air and every thing is clear. Apparently the valves are not lubricated from the oil pump as there is oil caps on the valve cover to oil manually. I took the port cover off and turned the engine with the crank and the oil trough and scoop seem to be lubricating the piston bearings on the crankshaft. The only other part that should need oil is the govenor which gets oiled when adding oil. Can I run it this way? I am new at this. Any hints?
