Farmall A over 8N Ford?

Hi! I'm looking for a small tractor to use on my small acreage farm. I've been advised to go with a Farmall A as opposed to an 8N Ford. I'll be using it for plowing a couple acre garden plot, brushogging and plowing snow mainly. Are implements as available for the A as they are for 8Ns? Does the A have any kind of hydrualic lift? Is the A a fairly stable tractor as far as rolling over is concerned? I'm hoping I can get some help from you guys to decide which way is best to go! Thanks!
