craigreavley, I pull a 13 shank chisel here, about 8 to 9in and usually run my 966 all out. Balls to the Wall! But I do a lot of Chore work with mine from time to time, It has a loader on it. But what has helped as much as anything is the Duals I acquired awhile back. I the see the Hubs on your tractor, Go get the Duals mounted up, the traction / performance will be tons better. You also mentioned using the lift lever to set the depth of your chisel. If at all possible use the gauge wheels to set the depth not the tractor you will be miles ahead then, the "Load&Depth" will only kick in the tight spots. Hope this helps. Later, John A
