I have a 44 H that at some point in it's life the PO busted the right rear hub. As with most farmers of that day he took it to someone who goobed it up with weld and it has broken again on me. I have found a 350 with bad motor that has been sitting up for a while (30 years). My question would I really gain much by swapping in the rear end and making (dare I say it) a HTA. I am using this tractor, it's not a show tractor by any means I have a altarnator, after market lights and I'm looking into swapping in some type of after market seat to make it more comfortable to stay on for long periods of time. I want to make it easier and better...but if I won't gain much I'd rather not go to all that trouble. So anyone done one of these swaps...was it worth it?
