FARMALL A FLOODING CARBURATOR

Have a Farmall A that when I try to start it, it floods the carburator and gas leaks out of it. It is a marvel schebler carburator. I have put a carburator rebuilding kit in it and it ran after I put the kit in. Let it set for two to three weeks and now it floods all the time. Took carb apart and it seems that the float level is OK. Is there anything that I may have overlooked??? Thanks in advance for your help.
