The good news, after 12 hours of hard running on the 460 I drained the oil again, wasn't to bad but wanted to look at the filter, nice and clean. I had installed a drain valve like a radiators to drain the filter case as this seemed much nicer than juggling a hot pipe plug, poor choice, the oil ran all over the frame rail. Anyone out there have a better idea? thought about lengthing it but that would increse the chance of it getting bumped open. Almost got the toolbox mount done, it has a 6x6 inch box added to hold a log chain. Spent this evening trying to get short beans into the combine, looks like the reel needs to come back further than it will go at this time. More good news, they are making at least 55 bpa, as good as we ever do! Now if we had all the cockelburs out of that field. Gonna end this before I fall asleep and lose it. kev
