M is getting hot and many recommended a flush so thats what im going to do on saturday. As far as the flush goes, Ive heard using vinegar cleans the system well, I was going to use a gallon of vinegar then top the rest off (5 gallons) with water, is that enough vinegar?
My next question is how do you tell if the water pump is working correctly? I dont want to flush the whole system only to find that the water pump is not sending anything through the block...
Finally, should i pull the water jacket cover and clean that? I read something in the archives about making sure to pull the water jacket cover, clean it, and replace the gasket? Ive never done this before, anyone help regarding how?
Thank you so much for the help gentlemen, ~Anthony
