no problems installing the pin, had to buy a new lower valve guide though, 34 bucks at c-IH because I ruined the old one trying to get the broken pin out...(bent it) and broke 3 or 4 little roll pin punches. All back together but 180 PSI is all I can get out of it with the screw block all the way down.
Had to make a adpater like you said, none in the kit go that little. The test port is 3/8 o-ring type thread. I started looking and found a 3/8 1/4 inch sae bolt...SAME THREAD. Drilled a hole thru the bolt, cut head off. Lathed it smooth on cut end. Drilled out a fitting that fit the guage and tap it to 3/8, screwed my nipple in and worked great.
