I have a 706 setting in my shop. Spent a ton of money on a 301 gas engine. Had the block bored.040 new pistons new rings new cam new lifters new rods and mains had the crank checked and polished had a friend put it all togather fired it up low oil pressure. We started to take it back down. My friend threw his hands up and walked away, said he never had seen this problem before. Now its been 2 years and $3300.00 invested in the change and it still setting in the corner. Had a offer of a running 560 gas even up. And another offer of a Ford 861 gas in fair shape even up for my tractor. What do you suggest? Any interested ? Trades? Thanks
