IH 350 Diesel troubleshooting, manuels,parts

I have just purchased this tractor and it is an "as is" fixer. It has an intermitent problem with one cylinder according to the previous owner. It will be running fine and then start missing and have a lack of power. Then later it will be ok and then have the problem again.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Could you direct me to sources for parts, manuels,etc?

It has a single wheel in front, is it possible to put a wide front end with two wheels under it? Thanks for your help. Keith
