I recently completed a starter replacement on my 1951 W4. I had read previously that a plate could be used to cover the Belt Drum opening & not install the Belt Drum. After doing this I discovered that my PTO no longer works. Is there a modification required or must I reinstall the belt drum in order for my PTO to engage ?
