I'm cleaning up the wiring on my SM and I'm going to replace the terminal loop on the ground strap since it's in pretty rough shape. The PO grounded batter to one of the bolts that used to hold down the belt drive. The problem is due to the bolt be fairly large he drilled the loop out so there was hardly anything left.
Where were they originally grounded? There's some smaller bolts holding down the tank support, other then that unless you are going to run a long cable there's not a lot of options that wouldn't require me to drill out the loop again.
