How long was the C-169 block made? I have a block with an "N" casting code which should make it a '68, I think. I'd say 1944 but the IH on the block, R code part number & displacement dictate otherwise. Is there a possibility that someone in the foundry was lazy & didn't rotate a sideways "Z"? That would make it a '54. I can get a couple of pics posted this evening. Maybe I'm not seeing something right.
